”We’re
entering unknown territory in the quest to reduce labor costs. The AI
revolution is doing to white collar jobs what robotics did to blue
collar jobs. Race Against the Machine is a bold effort to make sense of
the future of work. No one else is doing serious thinking about a force
that will lead to a restructuring of the economy that is more profound
and far-reaching than the transition from the agricultural to the
industrial age.
end partial quote from:
“Race Against the Machine.”
Unless both companies and governments involved in this transition develop some sort of Social Welfare system or training system for 75% of the labor force this doesn't sound like a good idea to be doing what we are doing to all the High School graduates or dropouts all over the Earth right now and into the future. If some way isn't created this will lead to something like the French Revolution in the 1790s in the developed nations of the world. And that doesn't make any sense to me at all. Unless we want to relive "Les Miserables" or something like that in real life in the 21st century some new way forward needs to be thought of.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
