VPN technology is used by ordinary Internet users to connect to proxy servers to protect themselves from harm

In other words private users pay a fee to a VPN as a service to mask their identity from Governments, and all companies and individuals worldwide. This is becoming more necessary for all individuals because of the following problems worldwide:

If we consider the present use of the Internet?

How Many People Use The Internet? More Than 2 Billion...

May 9, 2013 - repost bttn suprsd More Than 2 Billion People Use the Internet, Heres What Theyre Up. Do you ever wonder how many people use the Internet ...

So, if 2 billion people on Earth use the Internet some or all of the time and we take the above figures seriously then:

420 million people have had an email or social networking account compromised or taken over by someone else without permission.

240 million people have been stalked or harassed online worldwide.

220 million people have had important personal information stolen such as their Social Security number, credit card or bank information.

120 million people have been the victim of an online scam and have lost money

120 million people have had their reputation damaged by something that happened online

80   million people have been led into physical danger from something that happened online worldwide.

So, since a total of  (if I added right) 1.2 billion people have been harmed directly or indirectly through the Internet.

Anything else that had directly harmed or killed 1.2 billion people would have been shut down permanently already. Remember World War II only killed between 50 and 100 million people.

Because of ongoing figures like this I think things are going to begin to change in how everyone deals with the Internet worldwide. It isn't going to remain the way it is now.
