More what is coming out about Bergdahl was that he was sort of a troubled person even before he went to Afganistan as a soldier. He wanted adventure but also was trying to figure himself out and the world around him. From what I've heard so far he was the wrong type of person to have volunteered and gone to Afghanistan because his personality was the opposite of what a soldier needed to be. He was too creative and innovative and non-orderly and disciplined in his thinking to have done well in this kind of environment. Then there were rumors about LSD and telling people just before he walked away that he was going to become an Assassin. So, maybe he thought all sorts of things were going on other than what actually was while Afghans were telling him to leave in a language he didn't understand. Then waking up while being beat up and harmed by the Taliban while coming down from an LSD or other type of halucinogenic trip? This man might never come back from this to anything normal after the last 5 years. What a mess!
The more I hear about this Bergdahl might just wind up in a funny farm because he might not be able to go back to something actually normal here in the U.S. Or he might just be walking down the street talking to himself like some of the vets have all the way back to World War II that are still alive now.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
