The 13th Dalai Lama: 1876 to 1933

  1.  The 13th Dalai Lama predates the present Dalai Lama and was born in 1876. The first Dalai Lama was born in 1391. So, this is a very long spiritual and religious tradition. I think it might be useful to use the buttons below as I noticed when I tried to quote the buttons they aren't loading right for easy reading.

The 13th Dalai Lama predicted that Tibet would be overrun by a foreign power (China) and that Tibetan Buddhism would spread all over the world (which it has). What I find amazing about Tibetan Buddhism for example, is that Christians who are educated in colleges especially see no conflict in practicing Tibetan Buddhism with their Christian practices. So, around the world often educated Christians also see themselves as Tibetan Buddhist or another form of Buddhism as well. So, to Christians Buddhism is sort of a philosophy and not a religion. It is sort of like how Christians are generally comfortable with Hatha Yoga and accupuncture which are both health techniques for toning both mind and body and keeping it in sync for superior health in all ways.
