Senator Feinstein says U.S. and Russia now at Cold War Levels again

I was watching CNN and Senator Feinstein was asked whether she thought the U.S. and Russia had returned to Cold War levels. Her answer was "Yes".

My thought is that the shoot down of the Malaysian plane brought us here to this point. None of the other conflicts like Ukraine and Syria and Iraq that Russia is involved in in one way or another brought us here but the shoot down of the Malaysian plane did bring the U.S. and Russia to this point once again. Likely, European Leaders would agree in regard to their own positions regarding Russia too at this point.
