IF you look at the Middle East as a microcosm of what overpopulation is doing to earth I think that would be useful now.
In the Middle east we have a lot of desert, not a lot of water or tillable land and too many people for that land to support. So, in microcosm we see the problem of overpopulation in the Middle east as it relates to the rest of the world as well. The difference being most other places people are living there is more water per capita than the middle east.
However, what has happened in Arab Spring from Tunisia to Syria is partly to do with this dynamic. So, one could also look at the rebelion in Syria, the reaction that created ISIL to be what it now is also has it's roots in overpopulation in the Middle East(or more specifically more people than the land can support). And now we see what happens then: Genocide.
So, my statement here might be:
WHENEVER THERE ARE MORE PEOPLE THAN THE LAND CAN SUPPORT FOOD AND WATER WISE, THE LIKELY RESULT IS GOING TO BE GENOCIDE BETWEEN HUMAN GROUPS WORLDWIDE.
This likely is going to play out the same way worldwide as human population overtakes what the land can bear food wise and water wise ongoing from now on.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
