Get the flock out of here!
Nearly 1,300 sheep took over the streets of a Spanish city on Wednesday morning while their shepherd took a nap.
The massive flock started making their way through the town of Huesca, a city in North-East Spain, around 4:30 a.m. according to the Huesca Police Department, who posted about the incident on their Facebook page.
And while their shepherd had been counting sheep, it wasn’t his 1,000-strong flock that he was keeping track of.

“The shepherd had fallen asleep and did not realize the sheep had escaped their pen,” a police spokesperson told ABC News.
When officers found the herder, he was still peacefully snoozing — he had dozed off during a journey to the pastures of the Pyrenees, where the sheep be spending the summer months.
After fielding multiple calls from concerned residents, the local police department sent out two cars and five officers to round up the rogue flock.
According to the International Business Times, all of the sheep were returned to their pen by around 7:00 a.m.
