I'm not sure equating it to a world war is appropriate. However, it is true that this likely is going to get a whole lot worse than anything since World War II (at least in regard to France and Belgium and maybe some other countries in the EU. The EU already lost England in Brexit because of the refugee problem. IF you analyze why people voted for Brexit it was because they wanted refugees to stay out of England because they don't want anymore terrorist attacks there, for example. Because maybe 1% of the refugees are ISIS in disguise all over Europe.
However, Trump egging people on to freak out and because of freaking out to vote for him just shows how much he really is a demagogue and therefore dangerous for the whole world during these awful times worldwide.
Do I presently believe it is going to get worse than this?
Yes.
I presently believe that when Mosul Falls in Iraq that ALL ISIS resources will be directed in Attacks like in Nice which could theoretically mean 10 to 20 times more terrorist attacks like this worldwide but especially in Europe. This could cause governments like France and Belgium to fall and make England very grateful for Brexit at that point. It also likely might end the EU also.
I think after Mosul falls the world needs to be ready for these crazy attacks to increase a lot until ISIS runs out of money.
So, maybe the single most important thing might be to stop the money supplies to ISIS any way the world can. However, this might not stop individual lone wolf's from causing havoc worldwide with their own monies gained from selling drugs and human organs worldwide from people they have murdered.
