Rogue Wave

I was having a pretty boring day. My wife went shopping with a friend and I was watching the news. The only really interesting thing was that the FBI has cleared Clinton again regading Emails because they were all the same emails they already had on her. So, everything is clear now regarding that regarding the FBI.

So, I took the dogs to the beach thinking my yellow labrador would like to chase balls thrown by a Chuckit plastic thrower. This was fine but then we got hit by the first rogue wave of two. The first wave got my pants wet but not that bad and only wet the dogs legs as we ran up the beach away from it when it hit. But, as I realized these things were too bad to stay on the beach I started to walk through 4 foot high rocks to the edge of the beach. My daughter's corgy (about 15 to 20 inches high at her ear or top of head was following me when I threw the ball for my yellow labrador in the middle of that I didn't see this giant Rogue wave hit behind me. It was too late it hit me and almost knocked me down. I looked to see that my yellow lab was okay and he was because he has webbed toes and loves the water and is about 95 pounds to stand against a wave. Weight can be very important and how you stand so you aren't sucked out in the ocean by a rogue wave when it hits.

I was now wet up to my knees after being hit from behind but I managed to stay on my feet. But, then I had a moment of horror that I had lost our 13 year old female corgi to the sea that had been behind me running between the 4 foot high rocks before the wave hit us. So, for about 30 seconds I scanned the sea for the swimming corgi or her carcass if she had been knocked out on the rocks by the force of the wave. Luckily, for me, she had seen it before I did and ran up onto the beach. She was still soaked from head to toe but at least she hadn't been swept out to sea or slammed against the rocks. So, I followed her up to a trail off the beach and my Yellow Labrador followed us luckily to the trail away from the ocean but along the ocean to my truck.
