You may not have voted for Trump and you might think he is the most dangerous president since maybe Andrew Jackson, personality wise, and you might not think he should be given the nuclear codes, or the next time Pyongyang, North Korea mouths off to him it might go up in a puff of nuclear powered smoke. And you might be right.
However, what is really important here is the continuation of our democracy and Democratic principles within the Republic, otherwise there will not be any chance of our democracy remaining intact.
Whatever happens now it is up to all of us to protect our democracy in a Republic from being harmed or destroyed by anyone inside or outside of the U.S.
