Trump as Pragmatist in chief

I was watching "Bob, Carol, Ted and Alice" last night made in 1969 and I was struck with how much like Bob or Ted Trump really is. You might call Bob or Ted Liberals but you actually would be wrong. What they actually were was pragmatists like Trump seeing just how much they could get away with then in 1969. IN 1969 Trump likely would have been 23 since he is 70 now. IN 1969 I was 21 at the time.

When you have a complete pragmatist in the White House it is nothing to do with ideology or even politics. It is about pragmatism and nothing else. It isn't even about the Honor of being a president at all, it is about pragmatism or (What can I get away with?).

It is important to understand that Loyalty to Trump is not political, it is about pragmatism. If you are as pragmatic as Trump is you are completely about loyalty rather than ideology. You want someone to have your back no matter how crazy you ever get with Pragmatism.

So, of course, Political correctness is the opposite of pragmatism (at least for Trump). What about Bannon in the White House who is an avowed Leninist but who won't admit to being a White Supremacist even though Breitbart is a White Supremacist publication and Bannon was the editor (or may still be).

So, when you take away any ideology and are left with a pragmatist without what we call honor in a president, we are left with a very strange set of affairs where the only people who can support a pragmatist like Trump who is completely non-ideological at core are the Alt Right in the end.

However, if I were to say what Trump's preferences would be it likely would be something like a Libertarian Democrat. But, such a group of people wouldn't accept him as a Democrat because he is not politically correct.

For Trump to overcome political correctness he made a frontal attack on it which flipped out the most politically correct people in the U.S. and they may never recover from his attack on their points of view.

But, unfortunately, political correctness has been replaced with Fake News from Russia masquerading as the real thing and fraudulent electronic voting masquerading as actual votes and an FBI Comey complicit in the Rape of our Democracy by foreign powers.

I suppose Comey could be excused for his actions if we don't have a nuclear war with Russia because of becoming a Russian puppet state.

But, things are now so crazy up is down and right is left and in is out.

So, I guess it is whatever you want to believe at this point because reality definitely isn't what it was before this election. We appear to be moving back to the completely racist world of the 1950s once again. God help us!

What is reality?

I guess it is whatever you think it is at this point because there doesn't appear to be a useful reality anymore (at least on TV and in the news).

Which makes the world even crazier than it needs to be too.
