If you consider that these are race horses many valued at more than 500,000 dollars each who winter here away from the cold of the rest of the country with the Del Mar Racetrack nearby it is an incredible loss to the horse racing industry here in the U.S.
Most horses died from smoke inhalation from running through the smoke while breathing hard in a panic. A few who survived also have burns on their bodies as well but most have died from breathing bad air while panicked.
Several horses are still missing and haven't been found and likely are wandering somewhere in the region as well.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
