Brentwood and Bel Air on Fire in L.A. 405 freeway closed because of this
This is very unusual to have a big fire in this location. It would have been thought mostly impossible for this to happen in the 1970 to 1990s that this could happen. But now, with global warming and other factors it is happening right now. Whether this happened from embers blowing from the Ventura fire or another one or whatever caused this it is important to realize that Directors, actors and other people who work in the movie and TV business live in Brentwood and Bel Air and did when I was growing up and working for many of them with my Dad in the 1960s when he owned an Electrical Contracting business when we specialized in High end kitchens for rich people made by Saint Charles at that time. Dad worked for Abbott of Abbott and Costello and he gave him a record routine of "who's on First" which was one of their routines. He also worked for Sandra Dee and Greer Garson at that time too. I met many directors and actors myself. My father met Annette Funicello from the Mickey Mouse Club and the Beach Blanket Bingo movies as well. So, Brentwood and Bel Air were some of the areas where we worked on high end kitchens in high end houses. The average high end kitchen then was around $30,000 when you could still buy a new tract house for around $7000 to 20,000 dollars then
