Fire Danger for San Diego County coast line

The temperatures are rising here in San Diego County. For example, it is in the low 70s today inland but later this week about Saturday it will be in the 80s because of a Santana wind condition that will bring gusts up to 80 miles an hour or higher. Santana wind conditions come off the hotter deserts and blow out to sea which is one of the ways fires get started when power lines blow down in higher winds. This is usually a fall condition but can also happen other times of the year as well because of global warming now.

So, San Diego County is very worried about fires in these high wind conditions. We are visiting the county for a month during Christmas with all three of our daughters and one daughters' husband.
