But, I wasn't proud of my country during the Bay of Pigs, Cuban Missile Crisis, Kennedy assassination, his brother's assassination, martin Luther King's assassination, the Viet Nam War until Nixon Resigned. So, basically from 1960s through Nixon's resignation I could not be proud of my country because of what WAS happening.
Likewise, I haven't been proud of my country since Trump was elected and inaugurated and likely won't be until he is gone or impeached at the very least. And regarding the tax bill I have never been as ashamed of ANY BILL PASSED MORE THAN THIS BILL IN MY LIFETIME!
THE TAX BILL MAKES ME ASHAMED OF BEING AN AMERICAN!
