They both were businessmen that thought Business men should run the government and Hoover found out the hard way that didn't work out at all. Just like now.
This is why I presently believe the tax Bill will be the trigger for the next Great Depression worldwide.
Here's how I believe it will come down at present. The 1 1/2 trillion deficit balloons to 3 to 4 trillion without being properly addressed ("Just as Republican Senator Corker complained about").
But, the Republican response to 3 to 4 trillion dollar deficit will be (Oh. It will take a little longer for trickle down). The problem is Trickle down didn't work for Reagan. Trickle down didn't work for BUSH 1 (you notice he wasn't re-elected because of this).
And Trickle down didn't work for Kansas (which nearly bankrupted the state).
So, this likely with Trump's lack of protections for average people will trigger a Great Depression, 1, 5 or 10 years into the future depending upon multiple variables.
And if and when it happens I fully expect it to take out about 50% of the rich and poor of the world through Starvation and riots.
What the world will look like after about 10 to 25 years of severe Great Depression I don't really even want to think about.
But, this is what Trump likely is bringing us by not protecting the rights of the middle Class and poor at ALL.
When you don't protect the rights of the middle Class and poor they have NO INCENTIVE to help the rich stay rich anymore!
In other words "Servants begin to revolt historically!" And if a Great Depression hits again you will see the poor and middle Class starving revolt if Trump brings us another Great Depression
