In life, if you don't know yourself and make friends with yourself your life might not be that long. There are many people who are afraid of themselves and their minds and even their bodies. If a person doesn't have the time or inclination to better know themselves it is very difficult to live very long I have found.
Often I can look at people and if they are confused by themselves or others around them I can sense they might not be long for this world (mentally or physically).
But, the biggest one is knowing yourself.
Here's the thing. IF you don't know who you are how can anyone else either?
If you haven't made friends with yourself how can anyone make friends with you?
We all have to live the rest of our lives with ourselves. People (our parents or guardians) come and go.
If I look around me now there is literally no one left that is over 20 years older than I am that I knew during my life still alive. Of course I'm 71 now so that sort of makes sense too. This wasn't true even 2 years ago but it is now.
So, sooner or later if you live long enough YOU WILL become a Patriarch or Matriarch of your family too and that becomes part of the reason you try to stay alive and healthy for them too ongoing because you no longer just live for yourself but also for many others too.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
