The Conservative Party doesn't want Brexit. Since the Conservative Party is most similar to the Republicans in our government in the Senate and House, they want to PUNISH the Liberals who wanted Brexit in the first place.
How can they most efficiently punish the Liberals who wanted Brexit?
By creating a no deal Brexit which will financially devastate the poor and middle Class business owners and individuals in the U.K. especially England.
The Conservative Rich are likely going to be okay no matter what here. The Poor and Middle Class who wanted Brexit and voted for it will be devastated economically and many businesses will definitely go bankrupt in the next few years with a No Deal Brexit.
The hope of the Conservative party is that things get so bad with a no deal Brexit that the people vote in desperation to rejoin the EU if that is possible once again at some point.
