And it's closing all of its restaurants and laying off everyone. All 3000 employees of this restaurant chain are laid off in order to "collect unemployment insurance". The first one I went to was years ago now when my oldest daughter lived with her now ex-boyfriend near mcMinnville about 10 years ago now there in Oregon before she first moved to Portland.
I don't think this country can sustain what we are presently doing more than a month or two given all the variables presently. My son just called me to tell me this. Luckily, his job isn't affected by the shutdowns so he is going to be able to keep working through all of this. But, what happens to everyone in food service, Airlines, travel or entertainment venues who doesn't have money now?
Unless you are working for supermarkets or are a farmer you might not have work now unless you work at a gas station or pharmacy or are a tradesman like an electrician or carpenter or plumber.
The other interesting thing he said to me is that even after you have coronavirus you are a carrier even if you recover from it. So, even if you are immune because you have had it you can still be a carrier of coronavirus to others.
I mentioned the doctor on CNN TV whose wife and baby were quarantining her husband in the garage of their home. My son says that even after he recovers from coronavirus he will still be a carrier of it to his family ongoing because of the nature of this virus.
My son is a trained nurse with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Nursing from a California CSU in Southern California.
