From everything I have studied and know this isn't they way they would function if they are a part of the Galactic Government. Their point of view as a Galactic government goes something like this:
"We want the ecology of earth to survive so anything that helps create this outcome might be allowed."
So, they would allow humans or the ecology itself to "thin out" humans beings down to a low number like 1 million to 1 billion people which should renew the ecology as long as it doesn't extinct human beings.
However, if a person did this coronavirus on purpose (government sanctioned or not) to extinct human beings by 2100 (which it might) about 5 to 10% of that outcome at present I'm not sure what the Galactic point of view would be.
For example, they allowed our ancestors from Maldek and Mars to send a piece of nuked Maldek into earth that hit 65 million years ago into the gulf of Mexico which killed all the bigger dinosaurs that were land based who couldn't move into the oceans. Remember, this was allowed to happen 65 million years ago to extinct all the bigger land dinosaurs. So, it's possible that humans might also be allowed to go extinct in this same way. I'm not sure at this point.
So, humans going extinct (from this point of view) would be seen as an act of God (much like the asteroid hitting earth killing all the big dinosaurs was also seen as an act o God then too.
So, it is possible that humans will end by 2100 from the coronavirus and it's mutations. But, I presently believe that is only a 5% to 10% chance at present.
The problem is that the coronavirus is mutating and demonstrating that it will continue mutating just like the common cold. So, coronavirus might be the common cold that keeps on killing at this point. I don't know for sure.
