IF you read that 60% of the restaurants that shut down never reopen you get part of the story here. Businesses that shut down because of coronavirus often never reopen again. This is why shutting down completely again will destroy our economy and already has back to something resembling world war II or the Great Depression.
When shutting down is once like for a month or something like that it makes sense. But, when it goes on and on and on and on that just ends the economy of the U.S. completely. So, the likelihood that the whole country is going to shut down again is likely around zero no matter how many people die at this point.
So, it's likely we will see thousands and thousands of deaths more just because Trump completely screwed the whole thing up in the Spring and summer.
