I think it's important to realize that demonstrators see the news on TV and read it also in newspapers and online. They are not ignorant. In fact many demonstrators in places like Portland and Seattle and other Democratic cities might have college degrees because is common among people who have been to college and are well informed about what is happening around the world.
So, when Trump sends in unmarked federal agents to arrest and accost people this just makes things much worse than they already are. It also gives the demonstrators and Trump more power to do this when both before had no real power.
So, When Trump sends in unmarked Federal agents into situations where local and state authorities don't want them there then there is bound to be trouble of a sort not good for anyone (but Trump's base) so he can incite riots where none existed before. So, on Fox News it plays as something other than it actually is and just becomes a name calling idiocy that has no meaning (actual meaning) to anyone but Trump's base who eats this up like Candy even though it is all a lie made for TV by Fox News and Trump's Federal agents who have no real reason to be there at all.
If they want to guard Federal Buildings that is one thing but to run around the streets arresting people is another thing entirely, especially when they are not showing who they are in any way and might just be vigilantes or militia groups instead of Government agents.
This is the way Trump might turn our country into a dictatorship by the way as he adds city after city interfering with local law enforcement in all democratic Cities around the country one by one.
