Of the 100,000 plus new cases of coronavirus how many will die within a month or so?

100,000 cases is pretty easy to figure regarding deaths within a month or so.

2500 people minimum will die within a month or so of these cases all found within a single day at a 2.5% death rate.

However, because of overwhelmed or dysfunctional  hospitals and clinics now going bankrupt or worse, closing, especially out in the country all over America we might see a 5% to 10% death rate.

This one day's 100,000 cases would bring

5000 deaths if it goes to a 5% death rate OR

10,000 deaths if it goes to a 10% death rate from no hospital beds available to treat otherwise dying patients.

If 100,000 new cases a day continues ongoing this means either:

182.5 is 1/2 a year or 6 months so I'm rounding it off to 182.

182 times 2500 which is the 2.5% death rate is: 455,000 new deaths within 6 months.

182 times 5000 which is the 5% death rate is: 910,000 new death beyond the 230,000 already.

182 times 10,000 is the 10% death rate is: 1, 820,000 new deaths beyond the 230,000 already within 6 months time.
