What do Trump and Herbert Hoover have in Common?

They are both one term presidents. Herbert Hoover started the Great Depression by being sort of like a dictator like Trump. Neither is open to anyone having an original idea but them. For an American president whether it is Trump or Hoover this ONLY spells disaster for the nation in the short and long run.

In Hoover's case he caused the Great Depression by being so close minded. In Trump's case he killed 240,000 plus Americans by being incredibly short sighted and proud and unable to admit he was wrong.

This is very Victorian sort of like how Trump also doesn't really care about Peons at all like his own voters even though he readily lies to them a lot and spreads conspiracy theories which aren't true. This is very Victorian too like lying to our wife about stuff and to all your female children.

So, this dictatorial way of thinking like the head of a non stock offering company totally owned by one person is common in Herbert Hoover's and Trump's way of thinking which got so many people dead during the Great Depression, World War II and during the Coronavirus. Both of them functioned as Kings and not Presidents of the United States and both caused horrific problems for their people and caused the deaths of hundreds of thousands of people here in the U.S. then and now.
