When you are young you may worry about all sorts of things:

But then, as you get older you see all those things you worried about likely were not what you actually should have worried about at all.

For example, I worried about things in my late teens and early 20s like "I better put aside money for my retirement". But then, I realized I likely wasn't going to survive my 20s anyway thinking like this. Why?

Because unless I worried about staying alive and keeping alive I wasn't even going to make it to 25 years of age.

Then one day I said to my male friends: "Maybe my life will continue like this with a long series of girlfriends like it has since I was 15 years old." Later they all teased me about this when almost exactly 1 year later I was married with a new born Son (who is now 46 years of age by the way with a family of his own).

The point I'm making here is if you don't survive right now in your life it doesn't really matter what else you do later on because you won't be alive to see it.

The point is take care of your self right now or there won't be any tomorrow for you at all and all the money you might save you won't be spending anyway, someone else will.
