I always thought that we would technologically solve the problem of too much CO2 caused by fossil fuels and burning wood and slash.
Of course the main problem is overpopulation of humans and the herd animals we raise for food. However, as our world population significantly reduces from pandemics, plagues and global Climate change (which is caused by overpopulation of human beings to begin with), we are moving towards a sustainable balance right now whether people understand this or not.
Because either we move further towards overpopulation and go extinct or we reduce our population through pandemics and plagues and global Climate changes.
This is very simple if you look at it in this way.
However, now things like carbon removing companies are springing up starting in Iceland funded likely by Switzerland and Europe, we might see some reduction over time of our CO2 emissions.
However, you have to stop emitting the CO2 to begin with. Also, the other problem is that as the world heats up the methane from decay of plants and animals and humans of the last 100,000 to 200,000 years speeds up especially in the arctic like in Canada, Alaska and Siberia. The South pole is less of a problem because it is mainly ice in Antarctica even though it is true there is a land mass in Antarctica under the ice there. Some people even believe it is something like Atlantis or Mu or something like that that was once inhabitable before the poles shifted at one point or another when magnetic north and south were different places than now. Even now they move so fast that GPS needed to be invented so jet planes wouldn't run into each other starting in the 1970s with GPS stationary satellites above us for navigation using 3 satellites for every object moving here on earth for triangulation. They are also used for Cell phone transmissions worldwide too to locate phones and microwave towers for communication.
I had thought of another way to reduce heat here on earth which was what caused the French Revolution which caused starvation in France which was pyroclastic Glass from Volcanoes in Iceland going off and reducing sunlight in France to where only the aristocracy got enough food to eat. However, this also reduced sunlight which reduced temperatures too.
So, maybe the carbon removing technology worldwide is a more effective and useful tool as long as we also reduce the things that are causing so much CO2 to begin with.
However, now there is the other problem which is the methane being reduced by the melting of the permafrost in Canada, Alaska and Siberia which is an equal problem to the CO2 and actually causes more damage in the upper atmosphere than CO2 does at present.
This also must be addressed because CO2 is not the only problem damaging our atmosphere and earth at present.
