How can someone believe in both God and Science?

I think it's actually pretty easy. For example, My father was very into Electrical Technology and mechanical technology which also relates to physics in many ways. His Favorite person in history was likely Nicola Tesla who invented the Alternating Current. So, I read as a boy both the biographies of both Thomas Edison and Nicola Tesla who worked together on many inventions at some points in their careers.

So, for me, I grew up reading popular Science and Popular Mechanics magazines from the time I was about 5 years old. In this way I could have conversations with my father about the latest technologies that people could use or buy in the U.S. It was one of the things we talked about a lot in the 1950s and 1960s.

However, my father and his father didn't trust Medical Doctors at all. So, I never went to doctors much except for stitches after accidents in my life. For example, I never had any shots except a Tetanus shot when I was 15 because a blind old dog bit my hand on a job and it was legally required then in Glendale, California.

So, the first time I had a polio shot it was when I went to India with my family in order to travel to India, Nepal, Thailand and Japan for 4 months in 1985 and 1986 when I was 37 years old.
