Don't Look Up(2021) is a Wonderful Satire with Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Lawrence and Meryl Streep now on Netflix!

There are some spoilers in here if you are going to watch it:

First of all you have Meryl Streep who is a female Trump sort of President making similar mistakes of people like that, then you have her chief of Staff (sort of like Mark Meadows) played by Jonah Hill. Then you have Jennifer Lawrence as a graduate student who discovers the Comet that will kill the planet and then you have Leonardo DiCaprio who is the Astronomy Professor from Michigan State who is watching over Graduate student Jennifer Lawrence who just discovered the Earth Killing Comet. at one point this guy who has no equal unless you are obliquely comparing him to Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk says to the President"Meryl Streep" something like: "We know how you are going to die! it's by (something like Bronkeroc) This was funny in itself but even more funny later in the movie. Unless you can laugh at yourself and the whole human race you might not like this movie. But, I found it very cathartic and healing after all the insanity on earth since 2015 and 2016. I think in 2014 "NO one on earth could have believed the last 6 or 7 years could actually happen here in the U.S. or to the world.

Which leads to my favorite statement about life on earth: "Truth is always much stranger than Fiction!"

What I mean by this is this movie isn't far from the truth at all.

So, if you cannot laugh at the insanity of life on earth it will surely kill you one day!

Basically, this movie shows just how dysfunctional the government and the world is right now and what happens because of this dysfunctional state in relation to  an earth killing event whether it be a comet or Global Warming (or an as of yet unknown Covid Variant that wipes out all mammals on earth including humans). It's a lesson on how completely dysfunctional most people are regarding life and death situations. (even planet killing ones that you have months to stop or prepare for.

Incredibly funny and honest in many ways. So, my question is: "Is this also the way Global Warming will play out?"

There is also a "Dr. Strangelove" quality to this movie also!
