The Twindemic?

It appears that Flu (after taking a break last year because of everyone wearing masks) is back in force again. 

The problem is this:

30% of people who have had covid (and there are a whole bunch of these at this point) have diminished capacity in the breathing department. 

Since the Flu ALSO attacks the lungs this is likely this winter going to put many of these people who have had Covid and now have diminished lung capacity and difficulty breathing in the hospital and likely kill some of them because of their difficulty breathing already.

However, people just aren't getting their flu vaccines (but it's also true my wife and I have had our boosters and our flu shots this year so far) so at least we are fairly well protected at this point.

But, this isn't true of a majority of people in the U.S. at this point.

So, even though 60% of the people have had their first two shots, many have not received their boosters shots yet.

So, because of this between those with diminished breathing capacity (30% of those who have already had covid) and people not getting their booster shots we now have a cluster fuck of epic proportions because now on top of everything else Omicron is going gangbusters in the UK and infecting them like no other variant has before this.

So, this looks like an epic cluster fuck way beyond what we endured last winter the way all this is going so far.

In world War II they would call this a SNAFU. or "Situation normal All F----- up"
