I think we are actually going to see a million or more cases of Omicron per day at some point here in the U.S.

 It's the rate at which it is going up per day now in cases that makes me think this. Another factor is that the Swiss Government believes that 1/2 of their population in Switzerland will likely get Omicron within the next 10 days.
