I saw a double crested cormorant at a distance and wondered what it was? My wife said I should ask online to see which water birds live in Lake Louise. I realized it was a double crested cormorant that is all black with green eyes which is a fish eater much like an Osprey. But, what is interesting to me is that cormorants most often live in the Ocean and they are one of the few birds that can live at sea except for mating and raising their chicks of course. But, often they can just stay at sea hunting fish and be happy as long as there aren't storms or bad weather happening where they are. Also, they have green eyes which is interesting too.
