It's a lot colder and stormier on return from Hawaii

It was different to return to a rainstorm in Northern California. While you are in Hawaii often it rains a little every day. One of the things I noticed was how welcome the rain was to me while I was there. So, I was equally surprised to come home to a rain and snow storm here in California. Friends traveling with us returned to Mt. Shasta with 22 degrees that night, several inches of snow on the ground and Mt. Shasta completely white from the new snow.

Here the rain helped a lot too to the point where it should prevent any new fires inside the rain pattern anywhere in California the rain fell which is very good news.
