FDR had polio and was able to hide this from the public even during World war II

 Of course this wouldn't be possible with TV and Internet today to hide something like this from the public. However, FDR succeeded at this by mostly sitting down when pictures or movies were taken of him even during World war II while he was still alive. FDR died during World War II and then his Vice President took over who was Truman who nuked Japan in two places and saved likely around 900,000 American Lives by doing this. Very strange and unfortunate times were World War II and the Great depression before this.
