President Johnson's Speech during Viet Nam War telling people he would not run for a 2nd term

It is a remarkable speech to watch today.

I remember when he gave this speech because I watched it on Television. This speech likely was in 1967 or 1968 because Nixon Got elected because of him withdrawing at that time. It is debatable if he made the right choice for the country simply because of Nixon's history as president.

LBJ died in 1973 having watched Nixon run roughshod over the Executive Branch for 5 years after he withdrew too. Which likely helped kill him in 1973 at age 64 years old. However, people didn't live as long then as they do now generally. They were much tougher people than now but often more brittle because of the Great Depression, World War II, Korean War and the Viet Nam war at that time.

IN 1968 I was 20 years old and likely in college still then at Glendale College in Glendale, California.
