Trump and Musk are likely creating another Great Depression directly through all the mistakes they are myou araking by taking a wrecking ball to government. Because of this likely this year will take us into a Great Recession or worldwide Great Depression. Even Musk expects this to happen with the changes they are making to government now worldwide.
However, neither Trump or Musk really cares who lives or who dies now because mostly they are creating slaves who cannot afford to feed themselves under the present conditions or even buy a home for themselves in places like California if they are under 65 years old. So, this leaves a whole lot of people struggling to eat and to survive at all.
So, learning a trade during the days working as a carpenter. plumber, electrician etc. will actually carry you better through an actual great depression than anything else I can think of so you won't starve to death somewhere without food living on the edge of a river somewhere like during the GReat Depression where white collar workers who were unemployed by the Great depression died like flies all over the country especially during the winter then.
So, maybe working as a tradesman or woman while going to school nights or whenever you can or even online where yo u are learning philosophy, Psychology, Social Sciences and Anthropology which will really help you survive better than anything else the rest of this century.
When I first started out I studied computer programming and computer operations. I tried to apply to work at IBM when I was 18 but soon found out I would need a degree in Math to do that. So, I was disappointed. So, I returned to Glendale College where I studied COBOL and Fortran. Later in life I also learned two other computer languages which are Basic and HTML. I taught myself HTML in 1995 (around there) on my Windows 95 operating system computer then by taking the code from a yahoo.com page and experimenting with it on my computer to see what every command did. This is how I first taught myself HTML later in life. Because I learned COBOL and Fortran (both of which are still used today in science and business by the way even all these many years later.
knowing one or more building trades is useful simply because rich people (even during a Great Depression or Great Recession like we went through between around 2008 to 2012) allows you not to starve to death because usually tradespeople are fairly well paid compared to White Collar workers.
I realized that I had to go to work in 1973 when my girlfriend got pregnant so I gave up my idea of becoming a psychologist because being married and a father was more important to me. Family has always been everything to me.
In other words I work only for my family not really for myself at all. I have always thought this way.
