Tariffs can ONLY work in the short run not the long run. When they become more permanent wars often result like the one between Japan and the U.S. in World war II. So, can tariffs replace income tax?
NO! IT won't work and even to think it could is very very very naive and dangerous because it will only tend to start various kinds of wars starting with a trading war.
