It's presently about 67 Degrees on the coast near San Francisco area. I was looking at the San Diego Area and seeing temperatures as high as 86 degrees in San Diego County later this week. It seems pretty early in the year to be having temperatures that high so likely this summer is going to be another scorcher.
Also, most of Southern California has been in a drought since about March of last year and they have missed most of the storms that have hit north of about Big Sur too this year so there likely will be many firestorms in the south of California the rest of the year if they don't get some good rain pretty soon.
