From my personal point of view a State of Grace with God is about feeling peace all or most of the time. It doesn't mean you never experience physical or psychological pain from things happening in life.
However, most of the time it is as if you are already dead and not alive anymore so you are sort of a Walking Angel and you are with God all the time.
This allows you to not be so freaked out all the time like most people are so you can then be more helpful to yourself and everyone around you.
It's mostly about the Acceptance fully that you are going to die, it's just that your body is still alive.
So, it's a lot like being in Heaven on Earth a lot because you are mostly at peace with God every moment of your life.
At this point you can be fully Wise and yet still alive because death doesn't haunt you anymore like it once did.
You might experience physical or psychological pain but it is minor now that you accept your death (at some point which could be right now or 1000 or even 1 million years from now.
Simply because you now live ONLY by
The Grace of God
