I realized here today on March 17th 2025 since the above appears to be written about 2017 that I have learned more since then that I should share with you.
What I'm actually talking about is when Arcane went to earth when he was banished by Tech Noir on Isfahel where he was actually sent was earth during a time of interplanetary wars which is about 800,000 years into our present future here in 2025 and not actually the 1 million years into the future where they presently are on New Deva.
Since then I have learned that New Deva is actually Earth itself. However, because of Global Climate changes I'm thinking there were no continents left and only islands sort of like how all the Hawaiian Islands have been volcanically formed from the Big island of Hawaii all the way up Midway Island on the same volcanic vent that is still spewing lava out that was likely created by Mu being shoved under the ocean from space. It is likely that Atlantis was also shoved under the ocean from Space in an interplanetary war too. In other words both of these wars earth lost in the past already a long time ago.
So, at approximately 800,000 years into our future Arcane was sent through time and space because Tech Noir knew the history of those times and how no human was allowed on the planet then. So, he thought that Arcane would be killed by the war or at least jailed by those enforcing the demilitarized zone of earth.
However, Tech Noir did not know about Meridian simply because Meridian at this time was in spirit form presiding over the heavens of earth as well as the physical earth itself.

All continents were gone by 1 million years into our future. However, they were still there around 800,000 years into our future from 2025.

I'm not really entirely sure why all the continents were gone on earth by 1,000,000 AD when Arcane's group of settlers (originally from Earth around 2500 AD) arrived there. They thought that New Deva (their name for the planet) possibly was earth but were not sure simply because there were no continents left anywhere. And the only islands were something like the Hawaiian Islands left over a volcanic Vent sort of like the one that made all the islands from the big island of Hawaii to Maui to Oahu and Kauai and further north as far north as Midway Island as the tectonic plate moved slowly over the volcanic Vent on the south side of the big Island of Hawaii presently. Otherwise in 1,000,000 years AD there were no continents just islands like the Hawaiian Islands. As the population grew some people had to become amphibians (Arcane's ancestors) and eventually did away with the normal human beings without gills who drove them into the ocean where they had to become amphibians to survive. So, by the time Arcane came along I think all normal human beings (not genetically modified had either died or left the planet by then thousands of years before Arcane was born.
My conjecture is that winds and erosion of various kinds caused the changes more than anything else. It's sort of like imagine if the winds suddenly or slowly increased to being 500 miles per hour and stayed like that for 100 years. The sand and rocks hitting other landed areas could erode with this wind say over 500 miles per hour sandblasting literally everything down to nothing.
Even when Arcane's ancestors arrived the only islands above water were sort of like the Hawaiian Island Chain we see now in 2025 in the middle of the Pacific Ocean.
