54 in Orange County at around 7 am this morning

The Temperatures in the Orange County and Los Angeles County area are averaging around 80 lately. However, I have seen temperatures as high as 91 while driving which seems sort of warm for April but then again we are in serious global Climate changes which are wiping out areas here on earth now sort of at random.

I drove to the Airport to drop some relatives off who are flying back to Europe yesterday. The difficulties of the traffic on Wednesday coming south through Los Angeles county to get to Orange county were met with an amazingly easy time to get to LAX from Orange County yesterday.

Most of the Traffic in Los Angeles County at least is between about 101 and LAX (the airport) down the 405 and the Harbor Freeway and Santa Monica Freeway in that area. So, if you are at the airport or south of there often you are okay. Also if you are on the 210 up against the mountains you are usually okay too. The problem is anywhere south of 101 into downtown Los Angeles all the way down 405 to the airport. But, if you can avoid the worst traffic areas that can be bad even at midnight or after at times here in Southern California often you are okay. So, from Orange County it only took us an hour to get to the airport and then maybe 2 hours to get back to my cousin's in Orange county so we called ourselves very lucky indeed. However, beautiful weather for Southern California so this has been very nice visiting relatives down here.

I and my cousin mostly grew up in Glendale California even though I live in the SF Bay area now and he has an acre or more in Orange County! We used to sail in his sailboat which was originally a Columbia 22 foot boat starting in 1968 when I was 20 years old out of Marina Del Rey when he first became a lawyer then to places like Catalina Island and Malibu and places like that. However, he has sold all his yachts now that he owned and is retired in his 80s now and I turn 77 this month too.

By God's Grace
