These two people seem very distant from each other and yet they are not.
One: Kathryn Kuhlman was a Christian Evangelist and Christian Healer that I saw in the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles several times with my girlfriend who was into Ms. Kuhlman then. She was known for her healing abilities through the Holy Spirit.
My point of view was that I was always a clairvoyant and intuitive and so I mostly went to make my girlfriend happy and also to study how Kathryn Kuhlman invoked the Angels who came to heal everyone there.
It was always a really remarkable experience as hundreds of people among the 10,000 or so present were healed and often fainted during these healings.
My experience likely was somewhat different than other people because I was studying how Kathryn Kuhlman actually invoked the angels and how she sort of used the people there as spiritual batteries and connected everyone together to create these amazing Spectacular healing sessions where hundreds of the thousands of people present had amazing healings there.
IT was amazing on many different levels for me so I was having likely a very different experience than most people simply because I had been with the angels most of the time since I was 2 years old when they came and healed me from Whooping cough so I didn't die then.
So, angels for me at this point in my life were a 24 hours a day experience for me every day.
What was interesting to me was how other people related to all this. I was studying psychology and philosophy and cultural Anthropology at this time so for me it was spiritual scientific Research from my point of view which created a wonderful and amazing experience for me. But, it didn't cause me to faint like it did many people there. However, I did feel close to fainting a lot of the time there because the Angel energies that Kathryn Kuhlman invoked made you feel very spiritually high.
Angels will do that to you.
I have always thought people drank alcohol for the crappier effect that they might compare to being children and seeing angels. But, what they really needed was to just be around angels which makes you high from the Holy Spirit around all the angels.
So, what people really want isn't alcohol it is being with the angels which make you high in a good and lasting way through the Holy Spirit.
Kathryn Kuhlman passed away in 1976 so this likely was between 1971 and 1973. Because this is when I was going steady with a girl named Joy from Long Beach then and I was also attending Palomar College in San Marcos which is near to Escondido and San Diego then.
At one point i put a bumper sticker on my 1966 VW Bug that said simply "Joy" because this is how this girlfriend made me feel. "Joy!"
Though we eventually broke up by 1973 we had a couple of really good years together.
Eventually I got into the Summit Lighthouse with Elizabeth Clare Prophet. Her husband Mark Prophet had passed away by then and I and my parents met her in Pasadena at the college she was renting then for Summit University which was a one quarter course in learning about yourself and the Summit Lighthouse. I was in the Archangel Gabriel had Hope's quarter in 1977 there.
Unfortunately, my first wife broke up with me partly because of my going to this university program. She Married a famous California Cosmic Artist named Gilbert Williams who painted for people like Shirley MacLaine and other famous people in California then. I got custody of our then 3 year old son and he went to the Montessori School at Summit University then too starting at age 3.
Meanwhile I was learning more about spirituality all the time and I had gone to Summit university because it was somewhat like the Saint Germain Foundation I was raised in church wise.
However, I realized I had to be true to myself and my own integrity so when a girl I liked turned out to be a lesbian she told me that she was being persecuted for being a lesbian then and I realized that she likely would kill herself because of the way the Summit Lighthouse was treating her. So, I left staff there where I was in the Computer department there in Pasadena and took her to a psychologist in Oceanside who was the most psychic person I likely had ever met and was sort of like a Guru for a whole group of people then.
I knew this New York Trained psychologist would prevent this girl from killing herself because of her persecution and this worked and eventually the lesbian girl from Florida went home to Florida and I haven't heard from her since then. But, these were times when life was a whirlwind of people going into and out of my life. The 70s were kind of like this. IN fact it was like this from 1965 throughout the 1970s at least here in California on the coast.
Meanwhile, my son was slowly growing up and because of helping this girl stay alive I was dismissed from the Staff of Summit Lighthouse then. I was told "We cannot have people on staff that think they have a direct connection to God!"
From my point of view this was the best compliment I had ever received from anyone in my life at the time.
It also showed me that I likely didn't belong in any church because I am too independent of a thinker. I'm a free thinker and go where God shows me always like a Christian Mystic.
The Dalai Lama Came into all this when I heard him speak and was initiated by a Tibetan Lama in Ashland Oregon in the winter of 1980 just after I remarried a lady with two kids from her first marriage.
This kind of gives you an idea of what I was experiencing from 1970 to 1980 when i was 22 years old to 30 years old.
