If you have a Bursa (usually somewhere like on your heel like I had then in 2009) it burns like it's on fire especially when you walk on it. So, literally your Bursa hurts like your foot is on fire really bad.
However, here's the thing. This doesn't last forever (Thank God) eventually the nerves feeling like they are on fire die and then that part of your foot that is the bursa becomes numb.
In my case it was my right heel and this likely was from Surfing or other barefoot sports where I banged my heel a lot and it damaged over time my heel until I had a Bursa.
However, eventually this goes away. However, the year or so it burned and felt like it was on fire I bought my KLR 650 Dualsport Motorcycle so I didn't feel crippled until my heel stopped feeling like it was on fire every time I walked on that foot.
So, the foot on fire does go away eventually but all the nerves in that area of your foot have to die and for it to get numb before that happens.
So, if your bursa is (ON Fire) (what it feels like) then just know that eventually (usually after a year or two this goes away and that area becomes completely numb so you feel nothing at all there ever after instead.
