The points that I consider to be the most important regarding New Age Christianity is the emphasis on Individual experience, Self Discovery, and the idea that Humans are divine and have unlimited potential
 
My experience is that people (of any religion) who deny Self discovery, and the idea that humans are divine and have unlimited potential are usually trying to financially, or sexually trying to dominate people for their own personal purposes.
 
I have found this to be universally true in all religions.
 
If you you take away Individual experience, Self Discovery and the idea that Humans are divine and have unlimited potential basically you have human slaves both mentally and physically all over the earth.
 
So, to become Captain of your own ship and master of your own destiny you need to stay away from ANY people who are going to mentally or physically enslave you.
 
this is my experience after living and traveling the world at age 77 years old.
