In May of 2025 I went to Austin, Texas to visit my Daughter and her Boyfriend

My Daughter is around 30 now and has lived in places like Portland Oregon and went to college in Seattle and San Francisco and has lived in Berlin, Germany while going to college there too. She says that Berlin is a really happening place for young people like San Francisco used to be before too many homeless people moved there and were turfed there by Bus from the other 50 states because they are less likely to die there given how California is around helping people stay alive. (unlike many of the U.S. States). However, this is true mostly because California is the 5th largest economy of any nation on earth. So, it might be the richest state in the U.S. because of this.

In May we went to Austin, Texas and it wasn't as hot as it was the previous June when we went. So, this time I didn't feel like I was going to die from the heat because trying to address my edema in the heat is often impossible. In other words trying to regulate water weight in heat and humidity is pretty scary for me at age 77. However, I likely am still okay in Hawaii from about October or November until maybe April even with the heat and humidity there. So, Austin was a lot of fun for us this time because it was a lot cooler. So, we rented a Car and drove around and visited out daughter and boyfriend as well as friends in Boerne, Texas where a male friend and his wife that my wife went to High school with now live.

Then later in June we went first to Mt. Shasta to visit with friends who live there and some friends that few in from the East Coast that are members of the Saint Germain Foundation that I grew up in from birth to age 21 when I left. So, childhood friends from another era in my life who also love Mt. Shasta because it is a Sacred Mountain like the Royal Tetons in Wyoming to the Saint Germain Foundation.

From Mt. Shasta we headed north with our Blue Merle Corgi to Portland ORegon where we rented an Air BnB for the first time there which was nice because it's veranda overlooked Lake Oswego there near Portland and the drive through a rain forest on the way to visit my son in Portland was amazing too.

So, as you can see we have seen California from Orange, California to Mt. Shasta and Oregon as well as going to Austin in May.

Being mostly retired now we can now do these sorts of things to visit friends and relatives which is nice.
