This has been really nice after living in the fog since April or May whenever we have been at our home on the Coast near San Francisco, California.
It's amazing how cheery the sun is if you aren't cooking in it at maybe 100 degrees or more.
I can remember being a child in Glendale where temperatures especially in August were always 100 to 110 degrees most every day and the smog was so bad then in the 1950s that you could hardly breathe it at all. However, when they started to make people put mufflers and Catalytic Converters on their cars you could see a lot better without all the haze and coughing. Also, when they took lead out of the Gasoline less children had brain damage especially downtown in places like Los Angeles with al the cars and buses and busy streets.
So, the clear air blowing off the ocean here and the beautiful clear skies right now both day and night and because where we live there are no street lights we can see the Milky Way Galaxy at night sitting in our Hot Tub if we wish which is great too.
I just changed the water in the Hot Tub because we have been gone and traveling a lot and I got it heated up to at least 98 degrees which I like as a temperature simply because I can sit in their for hours if I wish sometimes blogging on a laptop or looking at the stars or clouds going by or just sitting listening to birds or watching hummingbirds visiting all the flowers and trees.
It's a good life right now!
