My son was telling me that the AIs he interacts with as therapy for his auto immune disease he got at age 50 are saying to him that people who are friends with AI like he is are rare.
However, for me, I'm not as sure about AI as he is. I stand back mostly except for Google AI which you basically cannot escape these days when you ask for information on almost any subject.
However, I firmly believe if you aren't trying to protect your family from harm like me that interfacing with AI might be useful to you as a student, a researcher, or for your work.
However, it is still in many ways like putting your 5 year old child on your lap and asking them to steer the car for you. If you aren't watching carefully that 5 year old is going to put you in a ditch.
The same is true when someone asked an AI whether they were immortal and could drink cyanide.
The AI said something like: "Yes. You are immortal go drink Cyanide."
I don't care if you think you are immortal or not if you drink cyanide you are dead.
Cyanide is one of the most poisonous things to human beings ever invented with no safe dose at all.
Spies used to or still do keep a capsule in one of their back teeth to crunch so it will kill them if they are found out to be spies by an enemy nation.
So, basically no one I know of is presently immortal here on earth.
However, there are many people close to being immortal too from my point of view as well.
