Longevity comes from living only ONE MOMENT AT A TIME

Why is this important?

Because if you are not here right now living this moment where are you? You might say you are in the past present or future or nowhere. But, if you are not here this moment you might miss something really important "like staying alive".

If you are not here in the moment and you step out in front of a bus you are no longer here at all.

If you miss when someone important tells you that they love you where are you?

You are nowhere and possibly not going to be around very long.

So, living each moment you are in his how people actually get to 116 years old in the first place.

If you cannot live in every moment you are alive then you won't be alive to see 116 that's for sure.

Part of the problem I find after living 77 years is that this isn't the place I grew up in anymore anywhere.

It's like living in some strange country with strange people.

It's at least as weird as going to another country somewhere on the planet because nothing is what it used to be.

Here at 77 years old most of the people I knew in my life are dead already. My wife and children and grandchildren are still alive but for example, 2 of my 3 best friends are already dead.

One died in 2006 and one died in 2011. So, I have one good friend from back as far as 1969 left and I have a cousin who is presently about 82 and his wife a year older that I went to their wedding in 1969 and I have known them and been sailing with them a lot since 1968 when they first met. My cousin bought his first larger sailboat around 1968 when he finished Law school in New York.

So, if you want to be around a long time you have to be present enough right now to ever get to then.

One moment at a time you move to 100 years old. Don't miss anything along the way that might help you actually want to be alive then. Because if you don't want to ever be 100 then you won't.
