How is having a well developed intuition important to your survival?

I think the main reason I'm alive today is that I sense things before they happen.

In other words taking physical risks was normal for people in my generation born from about 1945 to 1955. But, many of my generation didn't make it through these experiences.

I have always had the ability to look at something and sense whether I could survive doing something or not.

I noticed many people did not have this ability and so they were gone at a young age.

Now, there is this quality where people might not want to be alive and not having discussed this with themselves or God find themselves dead one day.

However, I wasn't like this because I had already almost died of whooping cough and then a concussion at around age 9. So, I didn't like pain very much or suffering very much so I wanted to be alive and not suffer anymore.

However, I met many young people then that mostly had had such a difficult time in life that they might not want to be alive anymore and this was pretty obvious to me when I met someone like this.

They tended to take risks one couldn't survive.

However, I still did crazy things like ride my BSA 500 World War II motorcycle through deep sand at 45 miles an hour and look back at my cousin on a Honda Motorcycle and this caused my motorcycle to go down at that speed in the sand. So, I grabbed the handlebars and put my left foot on top of the bike as it went down sliding along the sand at that speed so when the bike suddenly stopped  skidding through the sand I did a few summer salts forward and came up laughing because I hadn't died or ground my left leg off under the moving falling motorcycle.

So, I survived this with only a skinned knee from the summer salts forward when the motorcycle stopped sliding on it's side.

But, still I survived with no serious injuries.

So, once again I always could sense what I could actually survive and so I did.

By God's Grace

Having this ability often is the difference between life and death or being maimed or not being maimed.

Sometimes looking at friends that aren't safe to get into a car with and saying "No Thanks. I'm going to Walk" is the best idea for your long term survival too.
