I have been watching "The American Revolution" by Ken Burns on PBS in 6 parts

 I haven't been able for some reason to record on my Tivo the first episode but I now have recorded all the others and since I have a Tivo in one room and a Dvr in two bedrooms I have so far been able to record all but episode 1 and have seen 3 or 4 of these episodes so far.

Basically, Americans were unconquerable. If the British hadn't surrendered at Yorktown the Americans likely would have continued to bleed away all their troops like snipers one by one as they foraged for food and wood to stay warm at night. This was a guerrila war (At least by the Americans) which is a style of fighting that they had learned from Native Americans in the 13 colonies and in Canada.

You really cannot conquer a people who will never give up which is what you had then and now with Americans. Though what we presently have is an anomaly we will have to see what the future brings us. Trump mentally and physically is obviously fading out now. 

The Toll of his bad decisions over a lifetime are taking their toll along with aging. Mentally at the very least he is not long for this world now. He is just pushing his body and mind beyond what it is capable of doing. So, aberrant thoughts and actions are the ONLY result for everyone including himself and his family.

The other thing I have noticed is that the "Spirit of the American Revolution" also resides in the ingenuity of Ukrainians and Europeans in general volunteering to fight in Ukraine against Russia. The Russians don't want this war at all.

Besides, about 3 times as many Russians and Mercenaries hired by Russia are dying in Ukraine than Ukrainian soldiers.

So, we see the same types of guerrilla and innovative tactics that Americans and Native American tribes used against their opponents used in the War in Ukraine. As long as Ukrainians fight the Russians with the help of europe Russia likely cannot defeat Ukraine unless he turns it into a nuclear blast hole in the ground useless to everyone including himself in the European mainland. Will he do this? I don't think so because the nuclear radiation and prevailing winds with the radiation moving would kill millions of Russian who would then for sure overthrow Putin.

So, the Ukrainian war grinds on like our Revolutaionary war with England Ground on for many many years. However, France and native Americans and Black people from the south helped Americans by often fighting the British alongside of American colonists from Europe originally.
