Though the wind is bad 25 to 35 miles an hour with Gusts above this:

It isn't as bad (at least so far here) where we live on the SF Coastal ARea of California about 1 mile from the ocean. Last night it interferred with keeping Generator running but tonight the wind alone isn't enough to stall the engine (at least so far). Some of the gusts must be very high though because that howling wind is back but so far the generator is keeping going through whatever is happening.

The rain going sideways into the plastic shed where I keep the generator isn't happening tonight like last night.

I refilled the gas tank on the generator after shutting it down for a few minutes checking gas gauge and restarting engine so it's up again keeping mainly 2 refrigerators for 8 people Christmas eve and day going strong. I have kept one light on too in case anyone wakes up while it is still dark. We have electric lanterns and candles dispersed throughout the house as will. However, I find a good flashlight for moving around the house often is best. But a lantern than casts light out in all direction (electric battery powered) seems best for making generator work in the dark with some rain and wind.

So, I think we are okay for now and it's about 3 am and I'm going to try to get some more sleep (I woke up at 2 am and fixed generator and now finally tired enough to go back to sleep.

Merry Christmas Everyone!
